About James S. Linder MD

Dr. Linder is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1997. He completed undergraduate studies at Indiana University where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He studied Medicine at the University of Tennessee in Memphis where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his Ophthalmology Residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and then Oculoplastics Fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital. He practiced at Henry Ford Hospital before returning home to Memphis where he joined UT Medical Group. He has been in private practice since 2003. Dr. Linder's practice is limited to functional and cosmetic repair of the periocular region, and tear duct and orbit disorders. Part of his practice is devoted to non invasive aesthetic treatment of the face using injectable fillers and Botox. He has a very active surgical practice, operating 5 days a week, and accepting referrals from all over the mid-south.
